![]() The worst part is most of the people on my team don’t even know what I’m talking about. for the last like 3-4 EA NHL games I’ve had this. I wish that all these people who have never had or experienced FATMAN LAG would because this time I’m most likely done with this game. I'm sure this game would probably be pretty kicka55 like back in the day, but EA and Charter don't want to make that happen. NOT cool, and Charter will not even listen to me, and it's about the same with EA. From what I can tell there is a SINGLE hop causing 30ms of lag, which is more than half of my total latency. This is an ongoing issue, and I can't seem to get ANY resolution from EA or Charter Spectrum, and I don't have other internet options here. My final latency shows upper 50s, but a trace route shows a SINGLE HOP jumping from mid 20s to mid 50s while everything else looks very good. Maybe you guys there could put some pressure on the ISPs that can't figure out the best way to route your game servers to your players. I'll try to help find out why you're lagging so much. If you want to go through some troubleshooting, try putting up a post on the NHL 22 boards here. ![]() ![]() Time to shelve the game for the year within the first week for the 3rd year in a row Now it’s the same as usual delayed garbage. Yep was smooth as could be the first few days. My brother lives like 5 miles from me and has ATT Fiber gigabit and it's great connections. Cause my connections are pretty much the same for all their sports titles. But I very much feel it's a Spectrum thing when it comes to EA type games. How would you even get them to change the routing.or is that even possible? I check a route to the server and it seems by the IP that it's a lot of back and forth, and where I live I have exactly ONE option for internet, and nobody (EA or Spectrum) seems to give a backwards TIHS about what we have to deal with when we have NO other options. I have Spectrum also in FLorida and they aren't the best at taking the blame for things. They just blame it on your server every time. Charter Spectrum is pretty useless in resolving it too. Latency is the same upper 50s with a flat line. It felt identical to the problems I have had over the years on XB1, XB1X, and PS4. #Nhl 22 ps4 vs ps5 seriesThis was on the Series X through EA Play.HUT mode. #Nhl 22 ps4 vs ps5 OfflineIf you need clarification what I'm talking about just look up my conversations from NHL 21.Īre you playing offline on PlayStation? The other main focus of Thursday’s gameplay trailer is Superstar X-Factor abilities, which will give the NHL’s best players a new way to differentiate themselves in the game. And on the gameplay front, EA Vancouver has made upgrades to the series’ physics engine that provide for more realistic stick physics. ![]() “We pushed Ignite to the limit of what it was capable of.”Īugmented reality is another major piece of NHL 22’s new look, with graphical overlays that convey relevant information to the player in a very visible way. “All the visual upgrades that just wasn’t possible with Ignite,” said Clement Kwong, lead producer on NHL 22, in an interview with Polygon earlier this month. #Nhl 22 ps4 vs ps5 skinFor instance, EA Vancouver has said that it “completely rebuilt” dozens of player models, and improved elements like eye and skin shading. While those elements will be exclusive to the current-gen version of NHL 22, the game will also get plenty of visual upgrades on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The lengthy trailer focuses on elements like dynamic lighting for arenas (including lens flares), 3D ice spray effects, and an ice surface with realistic depth and reflectivity.
